        Very nice

Impressive Duo of Silver IABs. Almost thought I was seeing a Pristine Silver and Bronze until the Reverse pics scrolled by me. Good Score, Congrats.

                  Hi All:
                  I know the "broken stem"...
But what makes them "daisy's" ?
What makes the "deformed leaf" ? Thank you, John

                        Hi John

Your questions have been asked many, many times. If you searched on "daisy" and "deformed leaf" you would find the answer in the mass of threads

The search button on WAF is a great tool, and many guys are doing some homework themselves..

If you are busy here is a very brief explanation

Deformed Leaf - so called because the first full leaf above the rifle butt on the right hand side has what appears to be a deformation on the inside of the leaf.

Daisy - At one point collectors were unsure (and some of us still are) who the makers of some PABs and IABs were. The PABs of these assumed closely related badges had a little daisy in the grass area and that is where the nickname came from.. and that nickname was also used for the IABs that did not have this daisy..

                        Hope that helps
                        Graeme

Did that. Many search word hits, but no explanation. Least not the one's I
looked at before I was wore out.
Not noted in Sascha's book either.
Your explanation let me to find it there on pages 200 & 202. But no mention
of deformed leaf or Deumer. Just unknown maker.
As of late I was drawn to page 21. And so far I believe the daisy to be
of S.H.u.Co. manufacture. I appreciate your time.
This thread seemed a good one to bring this dilemma up. Hope it helps
others. I apologize to Jurgen for hi jacking his thread. Thanks, John
